After many years of waiting is finally the new top-level domains on the way to the market. It comes in over the next three years to be released over 1400 new types of domains so there should be something for everyone who wich to register a domainname..

We will continuously to add them in our Domain list when they become widely available for registration. For some of them it will be special requirements that must be met.

Wait time is over. Today  EU domain name is opened for applicants from the EEA countries. So now, organizations and individuals based in Norway register European domains.

.UK Investigating new rules

In the UK there it has only been possible to register third-level domain names (domain.co.uk), which in the future can be changed. Nominet launches an investigation into a new service that, if passed it could mean big changes .UK.

The new service, called direct .UK, gives companies the opportunity to be able to register directly under. UK (probably a company in the UK will be required).

Norid increase the quota to 100 domain names

Most Norwegian companies is happy with one or a few domain names, but some large companies, both private and public,have reached the maximum of 20 names in the Norwegian country code. This has made Norid increase the quota to 100 domain names from current 30.novenmber 2011.
