Posted by Dag Frode Aasnes, Last modified by Dag Frode Aasnes on 15 September 2011 07:18 AM

This guide shows you how to set up a default email account.

If you have defined multiple email accounts for all users you can also set up a "default address"  that receives all unknown emails. This email account  will serve as a "catch all" email account and will receive all the emails coming in on non-defined email addresses.

Step 1:
Click on the icon "Default Address"

cPanel: Default adresse

Step 2:

If you have multiple domains on your account, select the domain you want to set up " default address on ". We have in this example, the selected domain " yoda.no ".

  • Choose the domain that you want to configure.
  • Enable "Forward to email address".
  • Enter an email address you want to work as a catchall email.
  • Click on the button "Change" to save the changes.
